The one thing I’m a bit confused about is the logon codes. I was reading on the pmdg forums and manuals that PMDG uses their own acars, they don’t use hoppie but only for a brief connection? I did not understand that well. So for the logon code, it is always the atc facility center callsign, even when flying domestic? I really want to get involved in using acars but was always a little confusing to me, not to mention in the early days of hoppie not many people were using it in the US

Great video as always!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽 I get confused with the auto throttle, some people don’t touch it and the aircraft automatically idles at 30ft, others manually move the throttle to gain or lose speed during approach.

These videos make me realize I’m only using 10% of these PMDG planes

Anyone having issues with the 777 glitching on short final? My first two long haul flights while on approach the auto flips off and I can’t control the throttles and the entire flight panel freezes.

I fly the PMDG B738 and I have been using BATC and I really like it. But its irritating when BATC changes my landing runway when I get close to my destination. What is the proper way to change my flight plan in the FMC to go to the runway BATC assigns? Do I just change the arrival runway in the DEP/ARR page? Thanks!

Awesome video thank you so much, I also have te C414aw and TDS GTNXi this video helped me a lot. I know sort of how the ILS landings works but I'm struggeling with flying approach on RNAV. not all airports have ILS. And my manual landings end often in a Disaster. Can you please do a video explaning RNAV in the C414aw and TDS GTNXi?

Would also be intrested in detailed manual. ATM having trouble when planned ILS on Eham i wil het endless vectoring for goaround !! Can't find the solution

I’ve flown two full flights on this baby so far, gotten it from day one and it’s just a dream. I’ve already loved the 777 from p3d but this just brings it on another level. Superior performance and quality as always from pmdg. Those updates are just going to make it better and better. The only thing I experienced so far that bugged me was with GSX completely messing up with cargo loading. The height of the vehicles is just completely off. But I guess that’s a gsx side update that has to happen there.

You didn't mention folder structure. Now there is a work folder that contains a flight plans folder that can accept rte files as in other pmdg aircraft such as the 737.

Greatly appreciate your tutorials! Any chance you would do one on "how to descend via the profile" on a STAR. Just got yelled at by ATC, that I didn't follow the profile, in this example the MOXA3T STAR into ESGG. On my Navigraph charts, I only see 5000ft as a restriction...?

I absolutely love the 777, I was convinced I was going to stay on P3D, but I reinstalled MSFS and all my former addons, bought the 777, and despite the little hiccups, it’s a amazing product and I enjoy every second I fly it

Driver, is the 777 considered a heavy or large, when it comes to parking? Also, on the E-book? Is it just a written guide or will it include examples? Also, will it include a cockpit guide as well. I assume there is a fee for this work, so just trying to see what it encompasses. Thank you for the great video series, it has really gotten me up to speed. I like the way it is segmented out in small chunks instead of long videos that can take hours.

how the pushback works without GSX? I saw the pushback service is gray unavailable, doing the ms2020 pushback system works shitty. at the 737 pmdg it was possible on better way how it works with 777?

So is the main point the navigraph data so if you don’t have navigraph sub then there’s no point ? Or are there other good features?

hey, thanks for the video. Just on question, I think you can answer. I planned a flight to BIKF from EDDF. Simbrief planned me a route, which crosses Shanwick airspace for a short time between ORTAV and PODAR. Do I need to request OCL from Shanwick or from Iceland (which is also oceanic airspace)?

How is the autotune work excatly in the 737, mino is not working, it always stuck in a specific VOR frequency all the time, even when the VOR signal is lost... In the new PMDG 777 is working fine, the frequencies are changing automatically to the closest VOR, but in the PMDG 737 is not working in the same way... Any idea? Thank you!

Do we have to set up the throttles and/or flaps? I had full throttle on at London Heathrow and struggled to get up to 160knts, before running out of runway. Something not right, here???

I think Asobo should give money to pmdg and do like the queen asobo should ennoble pmdg and they should on the other hand ban perm bredok3D and captain sim cuz when u see that a group of kind people passionated about their product updates their PERFECT product in just 4 days after the release and that some Bredok3D guy post some kind of fsx shiny glass plane 737 max with stock old 747FMC with no August update 2, no wtb747 fmc, just like the old 747 , no VNAV , a toy like fsx cockpit and a 787 PFD AND MFD, then , thats when u wanna say: y is this world so unfair and y the good people are treated the same as the bad people. Honestly , asobo should ennoble pmdg, fenix, FBW, inibuilds, and like ALL THE GOOD devs cuz idk I dont even know how to create a livery like : reading the livery create documentation on fs2020 site i'm scared to see the list of software to download and meanwhile those guys just made a PERFECT airplane that is just a real life one but in a sim. I swear if the FS2020 sim had like 0 limits those guys would have already made a 4D VR 737 version with touch and smell feelings. Good job pmdg. This is great, but I have a question about the "little gotcha" you mentioned around 18:36, why is it better to set the air-speed in Mach instead of IAS in the 777? I've flown the 767-300 and I was told it's better to use the IAS on it.

I've been waiting for a long haul. This is an AWESOME add for PMDG. I'm hoping the 787 is coming soon, but I'm really waiting for the 737max.
